What the system does

One quoting workflow, ready to review.

Your customers enter what they need. Your pricing rules calculate the estimate. Your business receives an organized request ready to review.

  1. 1

    The customer enters the job

Measurements, options, quantity, and contact details. On the demo, that is a window opening, a mesh, and a frame color.

  2. 2

    Your rules calculate the estimate

The numbers come from the price sheet you approved. Unusual jobs can be flagged for a person to review.

  3. 3

You get a request, not a vague email

Customer, products, dimensions, the calculated estimate, notes, and a status: awaiting your review.

How a customer gets a price

Owner approval is the starting setup.

The request is organized and an internal estimate is calculated. A price goes to the customer after you look at it, unless you choose one of the other two.

Instant estimate

The customer sees a calculated estimate, then can send the request.

Fits when pricing is reasonably predictable.

Starting option

Owner approval

The customer sends a complete request. You review the calculated amount before a price goes out.

Fits when installation, shipping, or unusual sizes need a look.

Internal quoting tool

Employees enter the job. Prices stay off the public website.

Fits when you want the same calculation every time, kept inside the business.

The demo

A fictional screen shop, with made-up prices.

The first workflow this offer is built around is custom window screens. These rates are demonstration data. A paying shop’s page uses their sheet, checked against jobs they already priced.

Quote System Launch

A finished workflow, tested against your examples.

Send the pricing process. It becomes a tested online quote system for one product line. Half is due when work starts. Half is due after you approve it, before it goes public.

This fits a business that already receives custom quote requests and prices them from a sheet. The first projects are custom window screens. If almost every price is a judgment call, or inquiries are rare, keep the process you have.

Two questions come first: about how many custom quotes you prepare each month, and whether the calculation comes from a price sheet or from a judgment on almost every job.

$1000

One product family. One quoting workflow.

  • Up to 10 customer-input fields
  • Your approved pricing rules
  • Request storage, a notice to you, and an acknowledgment to the customer
  • Installed on your site, or hosted as its own page
  • Tested against examples you provide
  • One revision round
  • 30 days after launch to correct defects in the agreed workflow

$500 when work starts. $500 after you approve it, before the public launch.

Optional care is $99 a month, plus any software or hosting cost named before you pay. That covers a monthly submission test and up to 30 minutes of small pricing or wording changes.

Outside this price: another product family, customer accounts, inventory connections, card payments, and extra revision time. A sample of the price sheet is reviewed before the fixed price is confirmed.
